Random Thoughts From Abroad

Upon arriving in Chiang Mai, Thailand, I had one goal:  do nothing.  In the process of doing nothing, I found myself spending about four hours a day walking around town.  Going nowhere in particular, nowhere fast.

On my second day, I walked into this little corner store that sold all of this cool stationery and stumbled upon a little note book along with a gel ink pen that had glitter in the ink.  Yes, the ink had glitter in it so that when you wrote, your words would sparkle.  It seemed like a cool idea to buy them so that I can write down my random thoughts and insights as I travelled and contemplated life.

Now that some time has passed, I started reading through my musings and thought I would share some of them with you.

Nov. 30, 2015

"Wondering why I cam here for 2 weeks but it will force me to be more relaxed.  I can feel it already."

"Realized that a lot of my stress was coming from people wanting things from me.  Example: Friend wanted me to bid on something for him on EBay and I felt my stress go up because my plan is to do nothing."

"Only 5 days left. I'm finaly feeling setled in. Met 2 aesoe people.  I focus on my theory of gravity - it will save time.

Gravity: focus time on people who you vibe with. You'll know right away. Anyone else is wasting time."

That's all for now.  I'll keep posting some of these random musings in the coming days....
